Alienkind, a next-generation café and lifestyle brand, has raised $3.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round to accelerate its expansion plans and strengthen its presence across India. The company said it is also preparing to raise a larger Series A round in the coming months.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Alienkind into new markets as it looks to scale its footprint and strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing food and beverage (F&B) sector.

Founded with a focus on blending design, culture and community, Alienkind aims to redefine the café experience through immersive spaces, category-defining products and experiences tailored to younger consumers. The company says it is building a brand that resonates with customers seeking products and spaces that reflect their identity and lifestyle.

The funding round saw participation from existing investors, including Prakash Sikaria, Founder of Super.money; Ravi Iyer, Senior Vice President at Flipkart; Arpan Sheth, Global Innovation Head at Bain & Company; along with other investors.

“Alienkind was built to break the shackles of the traditional food and beverage ecosystem. The traditional ecosystem was built around transactions. Alienkind was built to transcend them,” said Vikram Kakkireni, Co-Founder of Alienkind.

The company is targeting an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $10 million by the end of FY27, driven by rapid expansion and increasing consumer demand. Alienkind said it has scaled across multiple cities within just 16 months of launch and plans to expand to 100 stores by FY28 across major Indian cities.

The brand attributes its growth to a combination of distinctive positioning, competitive pricing and a community-first approach, as it looks to carve out a differentiated space in India’s evolving café and lifestyle market.
