Patrick Raymon McGoldrick, former CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, has sold shares worth nearly INR 165 crore (USD 18.6 million) in the company through block deals on the BSE.
McGoldrick offloaded 21 lakh shares, equivalent to a 0.51% stake, in four tranches on Friday at an average price of INR 785 apiece, taking the total transaction value to INR 164.85 crore.
Following the sale, his holding in Tata Technologies fell to 0.62% from 1.13%. The shares were acquired by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, 360 One Asset Management and Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors, each picking up an equal number at the same price.
Tata Technologies shares closed 0.59% lower at INR 799.85 on the BSE on Friday, against a 52-week high of INR 890.15 and a low of INR 507.50.
McGoldrick retired as CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies in September 2014 after a two-decade association with the company and was succeeded by Warren Harris in November 2017. He is currently executive director at RNT Associates International, a Ratan Tata-linked advisory and investment firm.
The sale follows Tata Technologies’ fourth-quarter results, where consolidated net profit rose 8% year-on-year to INR 204.17 crore, on revenue of INR 1,572.22 crore. For FY26, consolidated net profit stood at INR 546.59 crore, down from INR 676.95 crore in FY25.
