Goldman Sachs has acquired a 0.55 percent stake in ecommerce enablement platform Shiprocket for INR 52.7 crore through an open-market transaction on August 19, the company’s first day of trading on the stock exchanges.
Goldman Sachs Funds – Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio purchased 40.24 lakh shares at INR 131 per share, according to bulk deal data.
Shiprocket shares opened at INR 97, the issue price, and rose 47.53 percent to INR 143.10 on the NSE during the session.
The transaction comes after Shiprocket’s public listing, following its IPO that raised capital through a fresh issue and an offer for sale.
Founded by Saahil Goel, Gautam Kapoor and Vishesh Khurana, Shiprocket provides logistics and supply chain solutions for ecommerce businesses, including courier integration, shipment tracking and delivery management.
The company received SEBI approval in October 2025 to launch an IPO of around INR 2,500 crore.
