Scrubsy, a D2C home cleaning brand, has raised INR 27 crore (USD 3 million) in seed funding led by V3 Ventures.
The fundraise comes after Scrubsy, run by BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd, grew 100% year-on-year and gained more than 5+ lakhs customers within eight months of launch. The company says it is now poised to cross INR 100 crore in ARR by FY28. Scrubsy says it has been bootstrapped and EBITDA-positive from the start.
Scrubsy plans to use the funding to push into new product categories, including car cleaners, laundry care, and other all-purpose home cleaning solutions, with a larger goal of becoming the first digital-native brand to lead India’s home cleaning category at scale.
“This investment is a strong validation of our belief that home care deserves the same level of product innovation that we have seen across beauty, food and personal care,” said Kartik Sibal, Co-founder and CEO, Scrubsy.
He added, “Scrubsy is built around one simple idea: consumers shouldn’t have to work harder, just because cleaning products have not evolved. This capital will enable us to accelerate product innovation, expand our manufacturing capabilities and reach many more households in India with Scrubsy.”
Arjun Vaidya, Co-founder, V3 Ventures said, “Home cleaning always felt like a hard category for us to invest in. But we’re always looking to back founders who are building differentiated brands with the potential to be category-defining. So, this is an exception.”
According to a report by IMARC, the household cleaners’ market was valued at USD 11.9 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to nearly USD 39.8 billion by 2034.
