Cars24 co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Mehul Agrawal has stepped down from his operating role after more than a decade at the company, marking another senior-level change at the Gurugram-based firm.

Agrawal announced the move in a LinkedIn post, stating that he will continue to remain on the company’s board. He did not disclose details about his next role.

The development comes amid a series of leadership transitions at Cars24. Earlier, co-founder Gajendra Jangid had stepped back from day-to-day operations. However, a company spokesperson clarified that Jangid remains with the firm and continues to contribute to brand and product initiatives, including Crashfree.

In recent months, the company has also seen exits across key roles. Himanshu Ratnoo stepped down as CEO of its India used car business, while Ankit Bhalla exited his position as director of engineering, pointing to broader changes within the leadership team.

These shifts come as Cars24 prepares for a potential initial public offering. The company has indicated plans to go public within the next 6 to 12 months.

The leadership changes, along with mixed financial performance, are expected to be closely watched by investors as the firm moves towards a possible listing.
