KaarTech Raises USD 11 Mn Funding Led by Playbook Partners

KaarTech, a digital transformation consulting firm, has raised USD 11 million (about INR 100 crore) in a funding round led by Playbook Partners, with participation from existing investor A91 Partners.
The latest funding comes after the Chennai-based firm secured USD 30 million from A91 Partners in July 2023.
According to reports, the company plans to use the new capital to expand its presence in North America and Europe. The funds will also support hiring in these regions and help the company explore potential acquisitions that could strengthen its product and technology offerings.
Founded in 2006 by Maran Nagarajan, Ratnakumar N, Selvakumaran M and Guardian George, KaarTech helps enterprises modernise their technology systems by migrating legacy infrastructure to cloud-based platforms and building AI-ready digital environments. The company focuses on SAP-led digital transformation, offering services such as cloud migration, data platforms, automation, analytics and managed services.
KaarTech serves large global clients across sectors including aviation, energy and government. The company reported strong financial growth in the last financial year. Its revenue increased by 56.8 percent to INR 718 crore in FY25, compared with INR 458 crore in FY24.
The firm also turned profitable in FY25, posting a net profit of INR 7.74 crore, compared to a loss of INR 66.93 crore in the previous year.
KaarTech primarily serves international markets, including the Gulf region, North America and Europe, and is targeting revenue of more than INR 1,000 crore in FY26.
