Bower School of Entrepreneurship has raised INR 26.8 crore in a pre-Series A round. The round follows its INR 11.5 crore seed raise and includes returning investors, new investors from the education sector, a Silicon Valley-based investor and other high-net-worth individuals.

The capital will be used to strengthen programmes, grow student enrolment, build a team of educators, practitioners and venture specialists, develop a standalone campus in Hyderabad, and expand a technology platform bringing together programmes, mentors, founders and the Bower community. Bower also plans to deepen work with existing university partners and set up new institutional collaborations across states.

The Hyderabad-based institution offers entrepreneurship programmes for school students, undergraduates, working professionals and founders. It has supported more than 150 startups and launched nine programmes. Its reach includes over 8,000 K-12 learners, 50 undergraduate students and 150 executive education students. Founder OS connects more than 2,000 founders, and over 200 students are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through its institutional partnerships.

Founder and CEO Pavan Allena previously built Metamorphosis Edu, which brought entrepreneurship learning into schools and was later acquired by BrightCHAMPS. Ravi Reddy and Bharath Maguluri have joined Bower as partners.

“Over the past few years, we have worked to build an institution where entrepreneurship is experienced, practised and supported, not just taught… Our ambition is to establish Bower as a leading centre for entrepreneurship in the country,” said Pavan Allena, Founder and CEO, Bower School of Entrepreneurship.
