Boldfit, a homegrown sports brand, has raised over INR 400 crore in a Series B funding round led by Bharat Value Fund, managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, part of Pantomath Group. Existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also participated. The investment is Bharat Value Fund’s largest in the consumer sector to date. Avendus Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to Boldfit.
Founded by Pallav Bihani, Boldfit operates across performance sportswear, athletic footwear, sports equipment and fitness essentials, serving over 2 crore customers annually. The company is strengthening its integrated product development and manufacturing capabilities, with a focus on innovation, quality and building long-term competitive advantages.
The fresh capital will go toward nationwide retail expansion, product innovation and manufacturing, while the company also plans to selectively pursue inorganic opportunities to strengthen its category presence and capabilities. Boldfit had previously raised INR 110 crore from Bessemer Venture Partners in its 2024 Series A round and counts cricketer KL Rahul and tennis player Sania Mirza among its investors.
“We’re building a deeply integrated sports business, investing in product innovation, manufacturing excellence and nationwide retail to create the scale and capabilities required to serve India’s sporting ambitions,” said Pallav Bihani, Founder and CEO, Boldfit.
“Pallav has achieved what few direct-to-consumer founders are able to manage – rapid, category-defining scale anchored by profitability,” said Madhu Lunawat, Founder and Whole-time Director, The Wealth Company Asset Management Private Limited.
